At Aberdeen Hall, the development of extra-curricular activities is meant to provide the students with positive experiences that help to expand their knowledge, physical growth and development, and social and personal skills. Through our club and athletics we strive to help the students develop an appreciation for a variety of life experiences.
Shakespeare Drama, Cross Country Running, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Basketball, Golf, Field Hockey, Professional Vocals and Musical Keyboards are only a sample of the many extra-curricular opportunities available at Aberdeen Hall. Clubs occur between 3:30pm and 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, and during lunch recess. All students are encouraged to participate and at last count, we had close to 90% of the students involved in at least one club. Ice skating and swimming are also offered to each of the students.
Aberdeen Hall provides our students with the opportunity to try as many new activities as possible. Clubs are operated by the teachers and specialist instructors, and some of the clubs have cost recovery fees. Each term, the clubs are adjusted depending on demand and interest.
Aberdeen Hall offers many athletic opportunities. Emphasis is placed on participation and the acquisition of relevant skills. Students are able to be part of competitive team games in sports such as volleyball, basketball and cross country. Individual pursuits include activities such as tennis and golf.

Our gymnasium can provide for badminton, jr. tennis, basketball, gymnastics and volleyball, whilst our playing fields encompass football, soccer, cross-country running, track and field, field hockey and rugby. At the new site, we will also have outdoor courts for basketball and tennis.
Parents are encouraged to help in the clubs and attend athletic events throughout the school year.
