A.H. Parent Guild

Aberdeen Hall Families,

On behalf of the Aberdeen Hall Parent Guild (A.H.P.G.) I would like to welcome you to Aberdeen Hall.

The A.H.P.G. is comprised of an active and welcoming group of parent volunteers who generously give their time to support Aberdeen Hall through spirit building activities and fundraising opportunities. The Guild operates under the umbrella of the Aberdeen Hall School Board for the benefit of the students and school programs.

The A.H.P.G.’s mandate is to enhance Aberdeen Hall’s social and physical environment while fostering a true sense of community among students, parents, staff and friends of the school. The Guild endeavors to accomplish this mission through the organization of social outings and fund raising events, supporting activities beneficial to the school community and working toward full parent participation.

The funds raised by the A.H.P.G. are allocated by purchasing items that are deemed to be non-essential, but beneficial for various programs. All purchases are decided upon after mutual agreement between the Guild members, Head of School and in cases of larger expenditures the Aberdeen Hall Financial Committee of the Board.   We are focused not just on raising funds but also “fun-raising”. We have numerous exciting events scheduled throughout the school year that can only be possible through the participation of parent volunteers.

Contributions at any level will play an essential role in the school reaching its goals. It is our desire to accomplish these objectives with extensive parent volunteer efforts.

Attached you will find our A.H.P.G. Volunteer Interest Form. This gives all families an opportunity to sign up for our events and other opportunities we offer. All Guild meetings are open to all parents/guardians whose child is a student at the School. We always have various volunteer positions which need to be filled.
