Senior Athletic Programs

Aberdeen Hall is proud to be building a tradition of sporting excellence. The philosophy of our Athletics Department is to instill the lifelong value of commitment in each student, to foster integrity in each athlete throughout our training and competitive programs, and to build excellence through athlete development and experiences.

Our goal is to provide a variety of athletic opportunities that will harness the abilities of our students and create success. As our school continues to grow, so does the competitive opportunity. Our Grade 6 - 12 Athletic Program competes within the Okanagan Central School Association and the Independent School Association of British Columbia, providing our athletes with a full range of competitive experiences.

Aberdeen Hall believes that competition is a powerful teacher. It provides lifelong lessons that promote active living, character development, and the pursuit of excellence in each student.

Basketball Centre of Excellence

Offering student-athletes more than 100 hours of elite skill development throughout the school year, this co-ed Basketball Training Program is run in partnership with Goodwin Hoops and led by Program Director Mitch Goodwin. This Canada Basketball-Verified program provides a premier training pipeline: Middle School players master core mechanics and court confidence, while High School athletes elevate their game with advanced offensive creation and high-pressure decision-making. Through structured gameplay scaling from 1v1 up to 5v5 scrimmages, players develop sharp basketball IQ and a lifelong love for the game.
