The Annual Fund
It's not how much you give, it's that you give.
Every gift is meaningful.
Each year, we ask our families to make a donation to the Annual Fund. The money raised goes towards the school’s funding priorities for that year as established by our leadership team with input from all of the school’s departments and stakeholders.
Funding priorities may include new resources for the classroom, enriched programs providing opportunities for students to further their passions or they may go towards improving our facilities, creating physical change that can aid in students’ learning. In all cases, the Annual Fund impacts the lives and experiences of all Aberdeen Hall students in a way that would not be possible with tuition and government funding alone.
Everyone is asked to make a contribution with our goal being 100% participation from all our families. The amount may vary by family but when we all contribute, we can continue to make Aberdeen Hall the best school it can be. Please be part of this proud tradition of leaving Aberdeen Hall better than you found it.
There are multiple ways to make a donation:
- One Time Gifts: Donations by cash, cheque, credit card or gift of stock can be submitted online or by calling Chris Grieve, Head of School at 250.491.1270. Donations are payable to Aberdeen Hall.
- Monthly Gifts: Your monthly commitment is the most effective way to support our students’ needs. Please submit the online donation form and select "monthly gift."
- Gifts of Securities/Stock: Donations of appreciated securities, including stocks, bonds and mutual funds, to a registered charity can turn a potential tax bill into a tax deduction. Please contact Alli McCabe, Senior Accountant, for assistance: [email protected]
