What Giving Means to Aberdeen Hall

Philanthropy touches every part of our students’ lives at school.

Tuition fees only cover the operating costs of the school. Fundraising is necessary to supplement the funds the school needs not covered by tuition or government grants.

The donations we receive from our families are what enables the school to offer our students unparalleled opportunities. Because of donor support we have completed six phases of construction: our Junior School, the Early Learning Centre, the Athletics Dome, the High School and Middle School expansions, and most recently, the Athletics and Wellness Centre. Donors are also responsible for the in-class resources available to teachers and students, resources that continually grow and adapt to keep pace with the changing needs of an evolving workforce. 
Donations are the fuel that has allowed Aberdeen Hall and its students to flourish.

The genesis of the school is a testament to the impact of giving. In 2004 a group of parents shared a vision to create a genuine independent school in the Okanagan. They gave what they could and what was needed to start a new kind of school in Kelowna. Today, Aberdeen Hall is one of the top schools in BC. 

We draw families from across the province, the country, and the world, to the Okanagan Valley, all because of the vision of a small group of dedicated people. Now, that small group of founders has turned into a large community of supportive families who place the value and quality of education as their top priority. Through your donations, we have built amazing facilities and filled those facilities with teachers, resources, and technology of the highest quality.  
Giving is foundational to Aberdeen Hall. Our success, and the spirit of community which is at the core of the school, is built on it.

AdmissionsApplications to Aberdeen Hall are accepted year round and are increasingly competitive.

At Aberdeen Hall, we seek to admit well-rounded students who choose to be at our school. We are looking for students who demonstrate leadership through academic performance, involvement in co-curricular activities and civic engagement. We care about our students and seek those who value education and are prepared to enrich our incredible school community.
